DEFIANT public sector workers are warning of more strikes to come in their battle over pension reforms. (The Sentinel, December 1) Sigh! Strike, strike, strike, it's like listening to children being refused sweets.

Can anybody explain where all this money is supposed to come from? Labour already stole all the private sector's pensions, where do they think the Tories can steal from? Do they think the Government are doing it to be spiteful? If they are forcing a reduction it is because they have to. If the unions want a better deal then they should give the Government options. Reduce working hours to save money, offer redundancies in sectors which are over manned.
