As police prepare to hand over responsibility for parking enforcement in Tamworth to the borough council, drivers are asked to think about the dangers of bad parking.
"Irresponsible and illegal parking can block the streets for ambulances, police vehicles and fire engines. Poor parking also creates a real hazard for pregnant women, children and disabled people, blocking pavements and forcing them on to the road," said Councillor Danny Cook, Deputy Leader at Tamworth Borough Council.See the full content of this document
