"INSPIRATIONAL" teacher and performer Fran Johnson has died less than two months after being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer.

The 57-year-old taught at Bishop Stamer Primary School in Stoke for 30 years, up until the diagnosis in June, and was well-known for her acting, dancing and behind-the-scenes work with North Staffordshire Operatic Society.
