NEWCASTLE Town goal shooter Laura Titley admitted her side needed to cut out the errors if they are to beat the best after losing to high-flying Linden.

Town crashed 42-33 to the Birmingham-based outfit in West Midland Regional League Division One, despite heroic defending from man- ofthe-match Julie Unwin. The North Staffordshire side, who now sit fifth, had an opportunity to reduce the deficit to just one goal in the third quarter, but failed to convert their centre and Linden then racked up a comfortable lead.
