GUDJON Thordarson has ruled out making additions to his struggling team, preferring to demand improvements from his current players at Accrington Stanley tonight (7.45pm). The Alex manager believes his players have yet to reach their potential and plans to extract as much as he can from a small squad before he seriously investigates the loan market. "There is more to come from this team," declared Thordarson. "My priority is to work on the players I've got and I am not looking elsewhere at this time.

"I will, of course keep my eyes open, but for now I am looking at what I've got in-house. For example, Shaun Miller came in for his first start for a long time against Aldershot last weekend and scored a goal."
