DETECTIVES are investigating a possible link between the theft of valuables from a hotel and a car being stolen from a driveway.

Burglars broke into a cottage, in The Green, Barlaston, on Saturday, between 2pm and 8pm, and took the keys to a silver Pregistration Ford Fiesta. And later that night, between 7pm and 1am on Sunday, wedding cards and money were stolen from the nearby Upper House Hotel, in The Green.
