Captain Dave Fairbanks revealed his disappointment at finishing eighth in the Premier Division table - after he had looked to mount a title challenge - but he had reason to smile following their 42- run cup success.

The decision to sign former New Zealand Test star Lou Vincent as their substitute professional certainly paid dividends for Audley.
