THE future of Trentham Park appears to be in the good hands of junior organiser Neill Hood and his talented bunch of youngsters. The Park boys have topped the B Division in the North Staffs Junior Alliance and also won the northern section of the Staffordshire tournament.

Promoted Park will now play the A Division winners for the Les Johnson Trophy and, as regional winners, will take their place in the semi-finals of the county championship. Park have a history of producing class juniors - David Gilford, Simon Wakefield, Eddie Tittensor (who all progressed to the professional ranks), new course record holder Neil Wain and Gianluca Romano, who is now at university in America, to name a few.
