Summary
MIDDLE Club can provide Richard Hannon with a timely victory at Kempton tonight. The East Everleigh operation enjoyed an excellent campaign last year and will be keen to set a similar tone at Doncaster on Saturday - the first fixture of the new Flat campaign. Before that, though, Middle Club can claim a tidy pot on the all- weather in the digibet Challenge Stakes. The three-year-old filly is head and shoulders above these rivals on officials ratings, largely due to a brilliant display in France last September. Hannon's daughter of Fantastic Light secured an important Group Three triumph with a head to spare over Baahama, who afterwards was considered good enough to compete in the Marcel Boussac on Arc day. Before that cross-Channel success, Middle Club showed pleasing dash to finish half a length behind Mudaaraah in a Listed heat at Sandown. Although unlikely to be fully wound-up on her first start for 188 days, she should be too smart for these rivals.
Tim Easterby has this season done an exceptional job with Lease Lend, who is strongly fancied to bring home the hattrick at Haydock.See the full content of this document
