FIVE more GP surgeries have signed up to a pioneering scheme which will allow patient records to be seen by medics and nurses anywhere in the country.
Doctors have warned private and personal information could be leaked, but NHS Stoke-on-Trent says the new hi-tech Summary Care Records system will save lives. About 12,000 patients from surgeries in Burslem, Norton and Hartshill have already had their details uploaded onto the system.See the full content of this document
