EMERGENCY gates are to be installed along the M6 to help release motorists from traffic misery after major accidents.
Highways bosses are installing 'crossover' gates between junctions 16 and 17 and 18 and 19 to allow drivers stuck in long delays to turn around onto the opposite carriageway to get away from the incident.See the full content of this document
