STOKE legend Terry Conroy is backing City's wingers to rediscover the consistent form which fired the team into the FA Cup final and Europe last season. Matthew Etherington has been hampered by a back injury this term while Jermaine Pennant has admitted he's been frustrated not to be more influential during games.

Conroy, who dazzled down the wing at the old Victoria Ground, doesn't believe opposition sides are focusing on City's wingers any more than they were last season.
