MY UNCLE, Dennis Poole, was a Labour councillor for Bentilee for 23 years during the 1980s and 1990s; I am sure he is turning in his grave right now knowing there are three BNP councillors in Bentilee and BNP governors in his local schools. How did we get into this situation? Thousands of people in Stoke did vote BNP. That's a tragic fact we cannot ignore, but many voters have been misled by the BNP and do not realise the economic damage being inflicted on the city.
