STAFFORD: Two police staff came to the rescue of a desperate member of the public on their lunch break. With a wedding just minutes away, a groom yesterday appeared at the public counter of Stafford Police station with a plea for help as his witnesses were stuck and unable to make his nuptials at Stafford Registry Office.
