STAFFORD: Stafford Grammar School is throwing open its doors for a summer holiday sports camp for children. The school is organising a two-week timetable with more than 20 sports on offer. PE teachers and coaches will be running the programme, which will be aimed at youngsters aged between eight and 14.

Among the activities will be cricket, netball, judo, football, rounders, water games, orienteering and trampolining. The scheme will take place in the sports hall and grounds of the school in Burton Manor from July 19 to 23, and from July 26 to 30, but places are limited and must be booked. There is a daily charge of Pounds 21, including lunch, or a weekly rate.
