MADAM, - This is a photograph of some of the staff from the Co- op Emporium in Hanley during a Thursday afternoon visit to Wedgwood at Barlaston in 1951.
All the shops used to close on Thursday afternoons and we often went for outings. I was a shop assistant at the emporium, where I worked from when I left school at the age of 15 until I was 18, when I married my husband Ronald.See the full content of this document
