MADAM, - I recently visited the battlefields and cemeteries of France and Belgium to locate the grave of an uncle who was killed in 1917 near the town of Ypres, Belgium.
While visiting a military cemetery at Delville Wood, near the town of Longueval, in France, I discovered the grave of 7448 Private J Beardmore, of the North Staffs Regiment, who died on August 31, 1916 aged 30.See the full content of this document
