Police are warning householders to make sure windows and doors are locked at night after a spate of sneak-in burglaries.

Cheshire Police has received more than 10 reports of burglaries in Crewe over the past month in which the offender has walked in through an unlocked door. All the burglaries took place between 9pm and 4.30am.
