A BRACE from John Millington helped Abbey Inn take all three points at Powys Arms, but their 4-2 victory was described as a "Jekyll and Hyde" performance. Abbey raced into a four-goal lead before half-time with Mark Fox and Paul Hammersley also scoring, and looked to be cruising to victory.

But Powys Arms produced a mini fight-back in the second-half with goals from Jamie Nixon and Matt Churchill to leave Abbey playermanager Danny Hyde bemoaning his side's inconsistency. "We played as well as we have done all season in the first half," said Hyde, "and we should have scored more than four.
