THE North Staffs and South Cheshire League lifted the League Cricket Conference President's Trophy after a 69-run success over North Yorkshire and South Durham.

Chris Lowndes's side amassed 266-8 from their 45 overs at Audley, mainly thanks to Longton professional Roger Sillence (87), Weston's Raj Kumar (71) and 49 from Dave Fairbanks.
