SCOOP: Almost 600 people visited South Cheshire ice-cream van maker Whitby Morrison for a trade event. The Crewe-based firm welcomed high-profile exhibitors including Cadbury and Wall's at last week's event, which it staged for companies and customers in the mobile icecream selling industry.
Production manager Ed Whitby said: "There is an annual UK exhibition for ice cream in the UK which we support, but it's a bit generic and we wanted to do something for our niche.
