MARK Grew insists Gary Roberts can still salvage his Port Vale career as the midfielder takes the first steps towards mending his relationship with manager Micky Adams. The troubled 24-year-old returned to training yesterday after being fined and suspended for two weeks following a serious breach of club discipline. His off- field excesses also saw Adams, pictured below, put the Chester-born midfielder on the transfer list.
