RICARDO Fuller is wanted as a cheerleader by boss Tony Pulis to help ensure the City faithful remain loud and proud during the club's current slump. Fuller was fast-tracked into the side after seven months out injured in order to rouse the home crowd during last week's home defeat by QPR.

And Pulis looks certain to have Fuller on the bench again tomorrow for the televised clash with Blackburn at the Britannia Stadium (12.45pm). "What I wanted last week was a reaction from the crowd," said Pulis, "and looking at the bench there was one player who could get that reaction ... Ric."
