PETER REID says the chance of joining Stoke was too good to turn down after officially becoming City's new assistant manager. The former Sunderland boss has joined Stoke after the Thailand FA agreed to release him from his job as their national coach.
The 53-year-old joined Stoke for training three weeks ago, but his move has been held up by negotiations with his Thai bosses. Reid signed a four-year contract with Thailand when he was appointed 12 months ago, but is relishing his new job.See the full content of this document
