GOVERNMENT cuts and the global recession are being blamed for holding up an estate's redevelopment. Nearly 200 homes on the Lower Milehouse estate were demolished three years ago as part of Renew North Staffordshire's plans for the Knutton and Cross Heath area.
However, following the winding up of Renew in March, the hopes of new homes being built on the cleared land in the near future look slim.See the full content of this document
