What have you been doing since you sold Flowcrete in 2008? In that year local business people in Congleton contacted me and said they needed my help in transforming the town. I said they needed to look at Congleton as a brand, and persuaded them to have an atmospheric survey done.

As part of the survey, the story about the dancing bear which used to live in Congleton came to the surface, and as a result we were able to rebrand it as Beartown. We've got lots of events planned for the future, including a bear parade and a charity auction. And this month, Bear Mania is coming to Congleton, which should attract more than 1,000 additional visitors. For 18 weeks more than 50 giant bears will create a trail through prime locations in the town - each of which will be a unique work of art. The bear I've sponsored has been decorated with daffodils in memory of my father, who adored the flowers.
