Marching on through driving rain and stormforce winds, members of Coleshill Town Band were shoulder to shoulder with world-class bands at the Saddleworth and District Whit Friday Brass Band Contests.

Although they were not able to claim the pounds36,000 prize money, band members were proud to win a deportment prize - coming first out of 41 bands at Carrbrook.
