A BIRKS of Leek, responding to Mr Brownsword's suggestion that religion be dropped from the school curriculum, defended Christianity, stating that Great Britain was built on Christian principles.
He went on to mention the 10 Commandments and in particular focused on "Love thy neighbour as thyself ", claiming that if we all did, there would be no more "neighbours from hell" or antisocial activities.See the full content of this document
