WOULD it be possible to ask the police why it still takes us so long to get home to Congleton after home matches at the Britannia, below? On February 5, we waited for the barrier to lift on the West 1 car park, then entered the roundabout without any trouble. However, we were not allowed to turn left straight on to the A50, taking us to Congleton, even though the road was clear.
The police directed us away from the A50 back to Congleton towards Trentham, which caused heavy congestion when we could have been on our way back home to Congleton. It would have been easier to turn left by the police at the roundabout, easing congestion, rather than causing a mass pile up.See the full content of this document
