ICE cream vendors are set to be joined by alcohol sellers under plans to sell booze at The Regent Theatre and the Victoria Hall auditoriums during intervals.
Stoke-on-Trent Theatres has applied for permission to sell alcohol in the two Hanley auditoriums. The proposal has been submitted because some customers do not like to leave the comfort of the auditorium to join the rush for interval drinks. Mike Keane, general manager of Stoke-on-Trent Theatres, which runs the two venues, said: "The application for a licence to sell alcohol in the Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall auditoriums is part of a group- wide initiative by the Ambassador Theatre Group. "It is all about enhancing the customer experience at our venues.See the full content of this document
