JOE Paladino admitted he was left shell-shocked by Congleton Town's home defeat by Ashton Athletic. The Booth Street side were beaten 2-1 in their Premier Division encounter, despite dominating possession and only allowing Ashton two shots on goal.

He said: "Our finishing was woeful. We played some great football, but I don't want to be an Arsenal-type - all pretty passing and no result. I would rather win ugly.
