COMMUNITY leaders have pledged support to help save six police stations which are facing closure because of cutbacks in Government funding.

The stations could shut in April if Staffordshire Police Authority rubber stamp Chief Constable Mike Cunningham's recommendations to help save Pounds 20 million.
