PUNCHESTOWNS can find his way back to the winner's enclosure in the 40% Better Off On Betfair SP Graduation Chase at Kempton The highly-regarded eight-yearold was second only to Big Buck's in the staying hurdle division a couple of seasons ago and his novice chase campaign went largely well apart from a disappointing effort in the RSA Chase. There was nothing wrong with his comeback second to the equally promising Pride Of Dulcote at Newbury, but his recent effort in Cheltenham's Argento Chase was a big disappointment. This return to two-and-a-half miles on an easy track should see him in his best light and he will have to win this if he is to compete over the larger obstacles at the Cheltenham Festival.
Alan King's string appear to be coming into form approaching the business end of the season and his Patsy Finnegan is of interest in the betfair.com/ paulnicholls Beginners' Chase. The nine-year-old won three times on the bounce over hurdles this time two years ago, but then spent a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
