Nuclear test veterans hope their 12-year battle for Government acknowledgement that atomic fallout caused their health problems is almost at an end.

Former RAF clerk Louis Holford, of Oakhill, served on Christmas Island while H-Bomb and A-Bomb tests took place in 1958. He is now among 31 men who have taken their case to the High Court in London.
