HOMEOWNER Kevan Shaw spent seven years fighting with Stoke-on- Trent City Council before finally accepting an offer for his Middleport home.
The 65-year-old stuck it out in the Slater Street area of Middleport while dozens of residents moved out as he argued over the value of his Dimsdale Street home. He believes the major issue for many residents is who determines the market value of the houses.
