GUDJON Thordarson is tempted to recall Mat Mitchel-King for Crewe's clash with Aldershot today after the versatile defender trained for the first time in a fortnight.

The former Histon player has managed to get two sessions under his belt this week after recovering from a back injury Previously, Thordarson had struck a cautious note about his return and left him out of Tuesday's reserve run-out with Stockport. But the Alex boss is convinced the 26-year-old will be a key figure in his defence this season and believes his side have missed his influence in the two games he has been absent.
