LUXURY car-maker Bentley has won a Pounds 3 million Government grant to help it sell more vehicles in China. The firm's latest Regional Growth Fund (RGF) grant will pay for the research and development of new engine technology geared towards the Chinese market.
The award comes six months after the Crewe-based manufacturer secured a Pounds 1.7 million grant from the same fund to train its workers. Bentley, which has already sold 1,000 cars in China this year, says the latest grant will safeguard more than 200 jobs in its 900-strong engineering department.See the full content of this document
