MEIR PARK: Council officers have refused a bid to put up a 20- metre mobile phone mast after residents objected. Vodafone asked to install the mast on a verge off Farnborough Drive, near the junction with Grindley Lane, in Meir Park.
The mobile phone company said the equipment was necessary to improve network coverage in the area, but neighbours said it would be an eyesore.See the full content of this document
