POLICE officers in Cheshire who have pocketed almost Pounds 2.4 million in bonuses in just 12 months are set to lose the perk.

Figures obtained by The Sentinel show 1,195 officers shared Pounds 1.43 million in special priority payments (SPP) in 2009/10 for tackling dangerous or unpleasant jobs.
