What a difference a week makes, eh? After the gaffer's bombshell transfer-list announcement, had we lost against Accrington and Bournemouth, and then crashed out of the Paint Pot Trophy, the mood in the Mother Town would have been bleak indeed. However, having battled for a point against Stanley and giving as good as we got against the high-flying Cherries, the lads put in another wonderful display against opposition from a higher division to dump Stockport out of a potentially money-spinning competition.
