MAKING HIS MARK: Former EastEnders star Todd Carty has given students a helping hand putting the finishing touches to their film. The TV star has spent the past week at South Cheshire College and Manchester Metropolitan University's Crewe campus editing the British Youth Film Academy (BYFA) production called The Perfect Burger. He has been working with foundation degree students, and co- directed the film along with Andrew Walkington, director of the BYFA.

Todd said: "I've been so impressed by the enthusiasm of all the students. "It's great to feel like you're helping young people to make a start in the world of film."
