MEDICAL student Kate Dodd swam her way through bitterly-cold waters to raise Pounds 250 for seriously-ill children.

The 22-year-old took part in the mile-long Great North Swim across Windermere, Cumbria, earlier this month to raise cash for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust.
