Volkswagen's BlueMotion eco models account for a bigger slice of its sales year on year, but this Jetta BlueMotion looks set to remain a niche player. That's a shame, as it's developing an identity of its own and with the potential to return an average of over 67mpg and emissions of just 109g/km it more than lives up to its green/Blue billing.

The Jetta 1.6 BlueMotion is a vehicle that knows its place. Yes, there's the inevitable 'sport' trim level, but it really should come with a small sachet of salt in the glove box.
