READING about nine-year-old Jack Fowler-Evans inspiring his school to save Etruria Industrial Museum, made me think of that beautiful moment in the film Kes where the teacher played by Colin Welland forces the indifferent, day-dreaming boy to talk in front of the class and capture their hearts with his love of a kestral.
