Summary
SOME find it shocking that hospices, which do an invaluable job in easing the pain and suffering of the dying and their families, are reliant - often entirely so - on public subscription. When times are as financially tough as they at the moment, it's sadly unsurprising that bodies like the Douglas Macmillan feel the inevitable knock-on effect in their coffers.
