LONGTON kept their travelling supporters sweating until the latter stages of their trip to Malvern before they finally claimed a nervy 10-7 win in National Division Three Midlands.
Malvern led 7-0 until the final quarter of a largely one-sided contest as Longton dominated possession, but either spurned or were denied up to nine tryscoring opportunities.
