GRANDMOTHER Sonia Bee is one of the first nominees to be put forward to carry the Olympic Torch when it visits Stokeon-Trent in the build up to the Games. The 66-year-old, of Fenpark Road, Fenton, is in line to be chosen for the honour after being selected following a Stoke-on-Trent City Council campaign.
The volunteer, who helped establish the Staffordshire Angling Regeneration Team in 2004, was nominated for her tireless efforts to inspire underprivileged youngsters to turn their lives around through sport.See the full content of this document
