ATHLETICS: Budding star Charlotte Friesner has won six medals just a month after she began track and field training. The 10-year- old, from Werrington, impressed in the Stars of The Future event at Loughborough University, where she won long jump gold. She leaped 4.36m to win the title, well clear of the national standard for under-13s.
Charlotte also recorded personal bests in the 75m and 150m sprints, running 11.1secs and 22.4secs respectively to win two silver medals. And she built on at Trafford Park last week when she ran 11.1secs in the 75m and 22.1secs in the 150m to win two golds.See the full content of this document
