LET'S face it, this fight to save the processing and distribution functions at Leek Road is going to be a fight where only Royal Mail will be the winner. Striking will only prove one thing, and that is these functions are no longer needed at Leek Road.

Over the past 11 years we have allowed Royal Mail to cherry pick the work out of Leek Road. We have allowed them to pick us off shift by shift, function by function and postman by postman.
