Families have criticised the region's health bosses for failing to give enough funding to buy vital equipment for disabled youngsters.
They were responding to a report by charity Birth Defects Foundation (BDF) Newlife, which reveals how much each primary care trust (PCT) has spent on the equipment in a year. The figures are no surprise to Melanie Orpe, whose four-year-old son Kieron suffers from severe cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a rare chromosome disorder.See the full content of this document
